[ She'll actually hit the buttons to show him the the controls menu, which shows all the combat. ] In this RPG, you can control up to four characters in battle if you have enough controllers for it. This is mostly the basics... the rest is up to you to figure out. You don't want to waste too much of your skill arts, though.
